USANA: Our Rockin’ Relationship

So, you’ve been to a couple of concerts, maybe you’ve sat on the grass seating on a warm summer’s night, or even just drove by what looked like a ton of fun. Whatever your experience with the USANA Amphitheatre, you know it’s been around for some time, and has brought great names to its venue. What you may not know is, who exactly USANA is, how USANA got involved, and what the relationship has meant for our venue and their organization over the years. Let’s shine some concert lighting on the relationship!

In The Beginning..

Dr. Myron Wentz founded USANA in 1992. Before USANA, there was Gull Laboratories. Dr. Wentz spent 20 years developing medical diagnostic test kits designed to detect infections and certain autoimmune disorders. He discovered the value of antioxidants to counter the negative effects of free radicals in the human body. This discovery led to the sale of Gull Laboratories, and the interest and beginnings to a new organization. In 1992, USANA was born.

USANA has been an advocate for people to live happy, healthy lives since its beginning in 1992. USANA’s focus has always been to create high-quality nutritional products that are built on one simple idea: if you feed the cells in your body exactly what they need, your health will benefit. This concept has continued to fuel the company’s endless drive to innovate and advance the science of cellular nutrition—putting a healthy, happy life within reach for all. They have proven time and time again that their interest in living balanced, healthy lives is a high priority.

USANA wanted to show that while they were growing quickly in several markets globally, they had great interest to be involved in their local community as well. The now international and billion-dollar company saw the value in supporting their city and their state, while also engaging a new demographic and expanding the horizons of helping people live and love life. The culture at USANA has flourished as they have helped employees and customers live life to its fullest. With their stellar, science-based, result-driven products readily available, in-house full-sized gym, rock climbing wall, wellness program, and so much more, the company has shown that a healthy culture is a fun culture. Which is perfect reasoning for the interest behind their involvement with the amphitheatre.

While the partnership was an opportunity to increase visibility, USANA also saw the chance to be a name in the fun outdoor event and summer atmosphere. More than a typical “let’s have a fun culture” meeting that you may see in other companies, USANA decided long ago that actions speak louder and doing fun and exciting things would not only make USANA a great place to work, but also show the world the sincerity behind their intent. With that, in 2003 USANA signed the contract to be the title sponsor of the young and bright-eyed venue.

Here are some fun facts about USANA you might now know.
